Rhetorics of the body. "My fingers have knuckles / trees that embrace forming commissures / my body rigid as a trunk / sap sprouting from the inside / a tree opens to continue living crossed by a fence / If the trees of the city spoke what would they tell us?" In this series of works called "Medular" Ojeda talks about human anatomy, in its analogy with the plant world, reflecting on the ephemeral properties of the human body and soul. Resorting to practices such as mummification and fossilization that materialize the skeleton in one way, restoring its absence.

JoyaBrava is a non-profit trade union association that gathers more than 30 contemporary Chilean jewellers, who work the jewellery as a means of artistic expression,  investigating and experimenting with materials, concepts and processes.
