JoyaBrava Regulations

JoyaBrava is a non-profit trade association (AG), with indefinite duration, whose main objective is the growth and promotion of contemporary jewelry in Chile and abroad.

Among its main activities are:
a) Maintain a virtual platform that promotes the works of the associates and that contains updated information on the activities related to the item both nationally and internationally.
b) Promote workshops, educational activities related to contemporary jewelry.
c) Organize exhibitions and cultural and exchange initiatives both nationally and internationally.
d) Promote actions that support the creation of new spaces for dissemination and marketing of contemporary jewelry.
e) Participate in national and international networks in the cultural and artistic field, in addition to generating networks with entities that provide financing and/or donations to the Association.
f) Publish books, catalogs and other information supports related to the field of contemporary Chilean jewelry.

Requirements to join JoyaBrava
-Being over 18 years.
-Be Chilean or live in Chile, have a work that represents a  contribution to the field of contemporary jewelry, whose portfolio is coherent and denotes a development of idea, common thread and author identity. In addition to a CV that demonstrates a professional attitude  towards the field.
-Deliver the requested files within the application period, to be evaluated and approved by the selection team
-Attend a personal interview.



Rights and duties of the partners
a) Attend, participate and benefit from the activities organized or related to the Association.
b) Elect or be elected to form an active part of the organization.
c) Participate in the voting of the general assembly.
d) Members must fill out the membership form, and deliver all the documents required in addition to having at least three pieces of jewelry to be exhibited in the event of an exhibition and/or sample of works organized by the Association.
e) Members must be up to date with the payment of the incorporation fee (in the case of new members) and the ordinary annual fee, the amounts of which will be set by the General Assembly.
f) The partners must sign the "Code of Ethics".

Below are the general principles or guidelines that govern how to participate in the Association. The values that we are interested in showing our partners are: HONESTY, RESPECT, SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY.

Each member of the Association is a representative of JoyaBrava before the community. This must show a willingness to collaborate with others in the projects in which the association is involved, without the desire to stand out from the rest of the associates by going over their colleagues with an attitude of superiority or self-centeredness.
The personal commitment of each member with the Association is expected in relation to facilitating the delivery of professional information that may be of general interest to their colleagues and for the benefit of their professional development in the field. (Example: Sharing information about scholarships, competitions or calls for participation in international exhibitions in which other partners may also be included without prejudice to the recipient of said information).

All JoyaBrava members must be honest in their criticism and not defame or denigrate the work or reputation of another designer. You must not try to supplant other partners or compete through unfair competition procedures.
Each member of JoyaBrava undertakes to respect the dignity and worth of all people and respect without discrimination against individual, cultural, gender, race, religion, ideology, sexual orientation, marital or maternity status, political opinion or origin differences. ethnic.

In the event that any member causes emotional (psychological), physical or pecuniary damage, it will be submitted to the criteria of the assembly or directory in order to evaluate their permanence in the association in the event of any complaint from any member that their integrity has been affected. personal or professional in some way.
